But Mat has previously said to do the TSB if you wanted to, but it wasn't necessary. I don't recall him mentioning development time.

Let's not speak on behalf of mat or ovtune. This will cause plenty of confusion let alone this thread is already confusing.

It's odd as I only got 1 going home on Monday, but then it was 85f and got up to temp quickly.

What cylinder, What temp, etc etc
This does absolutely nothing to help see the situation and only helps to cause more forum discourse. Here we go again. Always the same person too. Sigh..

I'm starting to think that trucks that get high misfire rates... since it's not a universal problem.. is related to a hardware component on that truck. Just like the stuttering issue on some trucks in 5th and 6th.

Someone in here, don't know who, has a brand new 2019 and it does it right off the lot. The said they've fought with toyota forever about it.

I have verified multiple times that our test truck gets no out of the ordinary 2-3 misfires per driving cycle. Tested multiple times in different temps, including extreme cold.

@OVTune I have noticed on 93 base a momentary deceleration at each shift under 50 mph. It takes place during the actual shift and is enough to feel in the upper body. It feels just like letting the clutch out on a standard with engine rpm too low. 110 miles on 93 base and this sensation has been consistent.

It makes no difference if constant peddle or accelerating

I can't solve anything reading random forum posts.
I need your ECU ID, octane you flashed, mods, etc.

    'Always the same person'

You've got tickets from me, I'm yet to hear anything from you. I get why you don't want this on the forum, it looks bad for the tune.

28 misfires for a 6 mile trip, across all cylinders (between 3 and 6 mostly). Temp was cold start in 74f weather. Didn't go above 50mph during the trip due to start stop traffic, didn't go over 2500rpm.

Just because only certain users are actually logging for misfires... does not mean it isn't universal. Stop blaming the hardware and 'it does it stock', 'It's a Toyota thing'.

Actually it is mostly you, and it's a repeat thing.
You have our logger with Flash Manager, you have always been over critical, which you even admit multiple times. I think at this point you just like to bring attention around. There has been times it seems you go out of your own way to find something you don't like just to post here. As if it's in any way helpful.

If it does it stock it's not a stock issue?

If your truck has continual issues, I dont think the tune is going to work for you. Flash the truck back to stock, return it I'll happily refund you. I give up.

There are multiple people who do log misfires and get nothing out of the ordinary. Then there are some trucks that get high amounts at random times.
