    I have dt shorties to a urd y-pipe to urd’s mark lll 3” exhaust. I love it, it is rather loud but I can’t imagine it’s louder than yours being that you have a cherry bomb and long tubes.....

    If you're running the stock catback right now, it's definitely limiting your power. I noticed a nice gain on the top end when switching to an aFe 3" catback

    Yup.....I meant to add that as well. 3” exhaust with the blower will definitely let it breath better.

    It did. I kept it for a while after the s/c. It did have a rasp to it and always had a lot of soot on the tail pipe due to he rich trd tune. Once I switched to the Mark lll I lost the rasp and the soot.......I definitly say it was worth it. I waited for blackfriday when I ordered mine and saved quite a bit. :thumbsup:

    So I know it was discussed in here a few months back about a fuel pump not holding pressure and them putting in a check ball and it fixing the issue. Who was that if you are still on this thread and active, or does anyone remember who that was? My truck has had 3 super long extended cranks in the last 2 weeks. Like it needs to pump the fuel from tank to the engine. And I am still looking into it, but I found out that the 4.7 and the 3.4 fuel pump does not ground until it see a crank signal. Which is why it has the extended crank. I think the 4.0 is the same way because the last time it didn't fire up I tried to just turn the key to on and let it sit for 10 second to let the pump pump the fuel to the engine and then when I cranked it I still had to crank for another 10 seconds. So I don't think the pump actually pumps with the key just to on.

    This is correct, it doesnt start building fuel pressure until you turn the key to crank.
    Also interested in who this was. I have had a similar delayed start, and everytime i have this, the fuel pressure shows 0psi when i start cranking. After the long crank, it jumps up into the 40s and then cranks up. Would like to add a check valve to my truck as well

    Agreed, not the best design. Mine is very intermittent as far as the long starts go. Sometimes it's consistent, sometimes its once every two weeks

    I dont think so on this one.. Key doesnt appear worn down and the truck is a 2013 with only 63k on it. Id be surprised if this was the cause. Confirming this on the fuel gauge tells me its check valve related

    Yes, that was me. I used a made in the USA performance check valve. And bought a few to get the bulk pricing discount because people said they were interested. But then after I got them nobody was interested. I installed it on my truck and it fixed the problem after switching to the 255lph pump. I’ll see if I can find the info again, I have several available.

    I would be willing to buy one from you and add a fee for storage. I am also running the DW 255. It was last winter when it happened just a couple times and now this winter it has happened 3 times in two weeks, but always after the truck sits overnight in the garage, not when it sits in the cold all day at work. And I spend more hours at work than at home.
