I read through those last night and it's the greatest thing I've seen on social book in a long time. There was a crayon comment in there too which had me rolling

Cool idea, but I think I'm on board with the majority of the comments... Seems a little expensive for what it is. Throw two in the package and I'm sure most would be up for spending the $30 to add it to their kit. Particularly because if you have a bigger laceration to put back together, you'll need all least two and $60 is a bit of money to keep two in there.

Cheaper than a hospital bill.. This was pitched to the military, don't think it got anywhere though. Just packing up wounds with combat gauze is there go-to ha

Yeah, but "cheaper than a hospital bill" for a single visit in this country these days could also be applied to a small house on 10 acres, so that doesn't say much.

Steri-strips seem like they'd work just as well for a fraction of the cost other than lacking expo points.

Good enough for emergency room bandaging me up, good enough for me.

I know them as Butterfly Strips, could be Steri-Strips too?

It's a great idea, I just hate that they are pitching it as a tool for outdoorsman. Sealing up a wound in the backcountry when you can't thoroughly clean it is just begging for an infection.

True, hopefully it'd be part of a kit where you'd have things to clean it up with before sealing it in.

Let them know they suck at balancing tires while you're in there. Thankfully the shop in Buena knows how to do it and it rides like a dream now.

Too bad there wasn't an easy rear disc swap. At least the updated 2020 Tacoma at ~ $35k msrp will have discs...oh no they won't.

"Yes, drum brakes are obsolete in the sense that they're outdated and not as widely used as they used to be. However, they are still used, especially on cars that are built on a tight budget and not used for high-performance purposes."

    Beat it

I read some article this morning that was making fun of Toyota for their cheap booshit...just had to.

And when there's other heavy duty stuff on the truck, then you can argue that, but there's much more cheap than heavy duty. :p

Sorry, I don't get all this hate on Drum brakes. Plenty of things could be improved on the Tacoma but Drum Brakes doesn't even make my list.

I’m pretty sure the tundra swap doesn’t work on 2nd gen tacos :angrygirl:
