    Dedicated exploration truck? Hell yeah.

Daily driver and weekend warrior? Hell no. (Pain. In. The. Ass.)

If you actually use your truck for things besides wheeling then you will hate it. I use my truck to haul things and having the swingaway was a real pain in the ass. So I sold it and had a high clearance rear bumper locally built.

I just carry the full size spare in the bed when wheeling now. Stays in the garage otherwise

More daily driving with weekend camping/wheeling then dedicated wheeler.

Think I'm going to this route as well.

    Workin' on it....
If I needed my truck as a daily or even needed to use they bed for truck things - no swingout.

Luckily I have my wife’s 3/4 ton Dodge diesel for truck stuff and the Taco is purely a weekend toy so yes to the swingout if that is the case.
