    My niece and de facto daughter. My brother and I share kids - his daughters are one for all but tax purposes, and he’s allowed to harass and abuse my son as needed.

    It’s win/win.

    I’m making wedding decorations: cupcake stand, wish box, various wooden signs, and a unity cross.

    The cross is coming out pretty cool, actually. Wedding is in June, but I hope to be all done by May.

    That was a specialty run after hurricane Harvey, and it was a TW member who was selling them. For the life of me, now, I can’t remember who it was now.

    When we got them they were donating to hurricane relief, so anything Kenny makes will be substantially cheaper.

    Still, it’s an awesome sentiment. Texas is strong...except during spring. That pollen hits, out allergies kick our asses, and we’re cokeheads on Flonase.

    Don't officially start until the 15th, but I'm scrambling to do turnover with my replacements. Half of my work is going to one guy, and half to another, and I will still be available to them for 6 months for questions. My new crew is already asking me all kinds of questions, and I'm like "hang tight, y'all, I'm not your boss yet!"

    I'm glad they're excited, but it's going to be a month at least getting my bearings in that new organization.
