    I loved that box, but it had three fatal flaws:

    1) It was too expensive to make.

    2) It was too expensive to ship.

    3) Most of them got damaged in shipping, even though we had very expensive custom cartons made for them. We had to replace more than 50% of the boxes that we shipped due to damage. We almost never have shipping damage with our other products, it's very rare.

    That is pretty. ... Enlightening on how rough stuff is handled. I stand on mine, strap stuff to it, jammed a tire UNDER it... Has held up great.

    Oh well, cant win them all.

    As a customer, you saw the cartons that we had made. I couldn't believe how many boxes got crushed in shipping with that carton wrapped around it.

    You will need either our ALUMAX or STEEL Max for your 1st gen (the bed width is different than the 2nd and 3rd gens).
