I had these Dunlops (215/70R15) on my 5-lug, reg cab, 2.7L, 5-sp. I commute and usually hypermile, so I have been very easy on them. I just changed them a few weeks ago. They had 121k miles on them. (That is not a typo, 121k). They were OK. A little slippery in the rain, but I could deal with it.

Replaced them with Michelin Defender T+H. First thing I noticed was a drop of about 2 MPG! Not happy with that. The Dunlops would skip and skid on hard cornering. The Michelin just...stick. I am happy with that. The Michelins feel softer. I like firm tires. I am already at 40 psi. I am thinking of going from the stock 6" wheels to 7" wheels. Suggestions?

I hit 85,000kms on mine (5 years) I just had my last truck payment on friday same weekend I put ko2’s on them.

I am hoping for similar km’s on the ko2’s. I drive in edmonton and would visit the mountains occasionaly so they saw a good ammount of snow and ice. last winter had a few scary slides so time to retire them.

True, these are the minimum requirements to be a tire.

I saw a tire in the ditch the other day. It was a Grandtrek AT20! Still had tread on it! The Grandtrek AT20 is the immortal god of tires.

im starting to believe in the Cult of AT20 tires mine are way over 65k miles bald as fuck only rotated them once and can still plow thru snowy slush. I was looking at new tires the dude gave me a crazy good price on a new set for $500 out da door with lifetime rotation, flat repair etc etc.

Just bought a one owner 2014 TRD sport access cab. The truck still wearing it's original Groundtreks after 57000 miles. Still appear to have another 10000 miles of life in them. Owner said he totaled them every 5000 miles without missing one rotation. After buying it I drove it home about 200 miles. Them suckers ride plumb nice, I gotta tell ya.

Hellwig 1251's, Leer 122, Kahtec smart stop delay flashing 3rd brake light, de-chromed, de-badged, WeatherTech mats, WeatherTech side window deflectors,
Perhaps a new record... got 85k out of these, finally changing out to some Goodyears while waiting out a snowstorm in Missoula, MT.
