I don’t know why it took forever but it was running at 15kbs. You’re right, that’s stone age speed. Maybe the server was swamped by guys like me just wanting to get that FM !!

I found I was downloading the PCM files not the P5F. Make sure you’ve selected the right dongle

Can we please clarify that the OBDII is not a dongle. The dongle us dongle guys mention is about the size of your thumbnail

Still much cheaper, less hassle & headache, than going to a stealership imo....

Correct. The dongle is stated in the instructions as black or purple or some color. And small. These flash files will end in .PCM and will not open with the OBDII adapter when you click flash.

Non dongle is just plain OBDII straight connected to laptop. Plus your file name will end in .P5F

The default setting in flash manager for dongle is yes. You have to switch to no for the OBDII guys.

Not to steal any thunder from @OVTune When in doubt email the help desk.

    Unless you have techstream.
I have the Carista adapter tho too.. it’s easy from the phone. Worth the few bucks.

Still getting the misfire/hestitation at highway speeds at low rpms and high loads (1200-1700) rpms. Truck bucks pretty good. Had to flash back to stock TSB which has much less throttle response but doesn’t make my truck feel like it’s going to explode. Going to put in a ticket to zendesk and hope for the best but it doesn’t seem like this tune works on my truck like others have noted.

The gen1 dongle is purple and about the size of what most flash drives were, and still are. The gen2 dongle is black and about the size of the what most wireless mice have used for the last 7 or 8 years.

Ok so I cam and started trying to download the 64 bit version from here https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...CTIONS_V.1_-_UPDATED.pdf?11913259822523419483 I install it get to when I click "Finish" but then I get this error: The program cant start because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. What do I do? I tried running the Toyota FM with "the recommended settings" and that did nothing? When I was installing windows on my computer (toshiba) it said it was the 64bit. I tried installing both the 64 bit and 32 bit version and neither worked.

FYI, dongles use the same Tactrix OBDII adapter also.
