Is that a 3 inch cat? Wonder if that would pass emissions.

    2.5” pipe.

    I doubt it...

That’s pretty much what I have now, except from the V-Band back is all 3”.

I think 3” is great for getting the most possible power, but I’m not convinced it is needed for where my 1GR normally operates. I think 2.5” is probably good enough and quieter.

No headers yet, but mine is much quieter with this setup, over the stock/TRD Catback and no drone.

Very cluttered dash. Would be difficult. I’m curious if the PLX app works with CarPlay. Would allow me to just use the headunit.

Looks like the vibrant cats. I’ve got 2 LS430’s. One with 2 vibrant high flow cats and the other with its 3 worn out stock cats. The one with the high flows smells no worse than the other, which also passed its smog test a few weeks ago.

Double pumper is happening, but the merge will be before the filter and the check valve will be after the filter.

    Pumps > Y > Filter > Check Valve > Fuel Rail

I’m going to try the setup without the check valve first. I may not end up using it.

Nice LCA tank, just got done installing mine about two weeks ago. If the check valve goes before the rail then what is keeping fuel pressure from dropping off on the return line?

On a different note, I installed my fuel pump inside the plastic stock bucket down into the tank. I didn’t have the setup for an external filter at the time. I am thinking about splicing the fuel line as it comes into the engine bay in front the brake booster to install the fuel filter? Thoughts? My LCA is on a long bed and I am unable to remove the bed or have anyone help so i would prefer not to drop the tank again.

I have that TRD exhaust. It’s pretty loud. I’ll be curious what you think after a comparison. My wife almost never rides in my truck: Loud, tall, cute shoes don’t work with the sliders, why are there no seat heaters, why are we going so fast...

Got my UCon installed back in my truck and tuned with the stage 2 tune for 455cc injectors. Running the 2.6 and everything has been very smooth over the past 275 miles. No codes thrown, and it feels the best it ever has. Did some data logging yesterday on my way home in 60* temps. Max MAF was 345.3g/s and injector duty cycle was around 83-84%. This was with my methanol kicking in at 6lbs with full spray at 9lbs. Talked with Scott last night and he said this setup is safe if i want to run with this for the long term. Probably exactly what im going to do now that i know i have enough fuel. He did mention that the WOT UCon adaptive shows it's cutting 15% fuel, so that gives a good idea roughly as to how much a 375ml/min nozzle can add

All my friends are virtual and don’t want to drive down from Huntsville. My physical friends and coworkers are weird and not mechanically inclined or willing to learn.

Join the Alabama thread (there are a few Georgia carpetbaggers already) and get to know the guys from the Auburn area.

Man that was a good deal. I'm still trying to sell mine...asking $150. Loved the sound of the TRD CB with shorty headers. The 3" banks I replaced it with is definitely louder but sounds good too.

I was set on the URD 3" catback because I don't want any rasp. I am okay with soot and will get that sorted with the tune. I am chopping it off over the axle so don't care about tip or appearance. I know there is some difference between long and short bed, but probably has to do with hangers. I am going to cut it anyway so I will need to check where the hangers are for the catback since I may be able to use an SB application on my LB

I will definitely look up the Bama thread. I am moving this summer (MAY/JUN) to Raleigh, NC. However, there is an auto craft shop, but competing with their hours and trying to take your time with a DD is not always feasible. When they shut down you are done. Whereas, I usually get authorization from Household 6 to work through the night on Friday into Saturday morning for most of my longer jobs.

I think the main difference between the catbacks for DCLB vs DCSB is an extra piece of piping to account for the added length. My aFe catback came with an extra piece of pipe for DCLBs
