Enough to make it a lot of fun!
All he has done to fit his tires is taken a hammer to his fire wall and fender wells. I would say that is easier then tubing.

Took him like a year and a half to get it dialed in right.

Took me a day and a half to fit 35s and never rubbed since.

It may have been a year and a half but that is 5 minutes of hammering at a time at most. So in total it is the same amount of time and he has no chance of a leak in his floor.

Eh, it's been a bit more than hammering. There's been plenty of cutting involved too. And I did have to seam seal the pinch weld again after BFHing it so much.

Regardless, I still wouldn't want the overly wide tires sticking out past my fenders. :luvya:

Hey man! Found and extended length but I was curious if you had a collapsed length for your kings since you had welded ends and a price maybe if you dont mind. My cheap fox 2.0's are leakin and i may just replace them all together. I know it was a while ago you did your new setup. Dont worry if you cant remember haha. Thanks bud.

I believe they are 17 3/8" collapsed. Just look at the standard 2.5x10 King measurements and subtract an inch for the rod end.

I think I paid somewhere around $350/shock, but that was almost 2 years ago now.

King did just increase there prices last spring.

You can also get the over the top cap which shortens the length .1" more than the welded rod end. If you ever need to source parts it'll be easier to get a normal shaft vs one with the rod welded.

Where are you seeing this??!! Im seeing 19.6 for 10's. When i look shock up under the 1st gen tacoma it only results in coilover options.

Hmmmm thanks for the heads up! Just emailed them so we will see what they say in regards to that rather than the welded ends.

Are the purpose of welded ends to get a shock with more travel in at the same mounting lengths?
