Thanks! The SV has 07 GSXR 750 forks, brakes, front wheel and a matching rear wheel to run a 180 tire. Aluminum racing subframe, Penske rear shock, PCIII, racing wiring harness, Yoshimura full exhaust (M4 end can only) and 2010 GSXR 600/750 body work. Otherwise, the motor is still stock. Plenty good for a track bike.

I've ridden that road. Never did find that sign tho, think I rode right past it without seeing it.

Nice! I love my 08 SV650S, haven't taken it to the track yet but hoping to this year.

It's right at the beginning of the road within sight of Hwy 5. It was stolen and MIA for a couple of years.
I try and hit Hwy 36 a couple of times a year. Best motorcycle road in Ca. No law, very, very little traffic, everything from fast sweepers, tight technical corners and single lane, if you miss, you die stuff.

I rode it on my Super Duke at the end of August, 2016. Was headed back to San Diego, towards the end of a 10 day, 4000 mile road trip. I had gone from San Diego up to Yosemite, to Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake, over to the Oregon Coast and then up to Portland, then up to Whidbey Island off Seattle, then inland to Redmond, Oregon and then worked my way south again after crossing Hwy 36 to the California coast and down Hwy 1 back to San Diego. Was a great trip.

Sounds like a great trip. The day that picture was taken started 70 miles back in Chester on Lake Elsinore so I actually did 210 miles of Hwy 36. Spent a few days camping and bombing around. It was my first solo moto camping trip and got me hooked.

No problems at all. The Super Duke is a very upright ride so it's all day long comfortable. I usually did around 400 to 500 miles per day and had one day at about 600.

I bought my old Harley brand new in 2009, Road King invested a lot into it including motor work, made 98 Hp and 113 ft of trq at the rear wheel not to bad.. Never let me down, but after owning 2 Harley's in 2016 I decided to try something totally different and went with the Honda CBR.Which is fun to ride, definitely not for long distance.. No regrets though..

Few more pics I took while out for a joy ride yesterday. These lights are SO fuckin dope. I had been looking forward to this since I got the bike. As it was one of the determining factors in getting an 03-06 600rr. They look fuckin sick af with retros. heh.

If anyone wants more :jerkoff: material, I have loads more pics here.

    Here's my baby.

When I first got the bike it looked like this.
The previous owner of my bike somehow broke the mounting point on the swing arm. I needed new tires and I got a newish swing arm from a bike that was being parted out for a really good price. I had the swing arm painted glossy black before we put it on.

Had to do some sketchy rigging to keep the rear of the bike in the air... [IMG]

    After the swap
    [IMG]
I got a fix it ticket for the rear plate because it was "hidden" with the old mounting set up so I have a bit of a janky set up at the moment...

Since that picture I put in a integrated rear tail light which got rid of the shitty stock turn signals. Haven't taken many pics recently though.

Looks good mang! I've never seen that arrow dual race exhaust setup before. Interesting.. I swapped from yosh to delkevic. Even tried a toce knockoff from China. It was loud af but leaked like a sumbitch. Lol.

The previous owner said they're a titanium racing exhaust or something idk. I really like the sound but they burn the shit out of my right ankle once in a while and they use the passenger peg mounting point so no passengers  I keep looking for some second hand ones but I never look that hard haha

Those retros look bad ass. You got a link to where you got them?

You should consider delkevic. It sounds sick. Got a pretty deep tone to it. Its loud af, especially without the baffle, heh. But still clean sounding. And they're cheap. $255 for their stanless slip on. $295 for carbon fiber. And don't let the price deter you, it's top notch. I had one on my f3 too. Love it.

And thanks. I built the retros. I bought everything from theretrofitsource.com (minus a few materials). A few pics of the build process here. Definitely not an easy task. Was a total pain in the ass. Ha. Took me a few weeks working on it here and there.

Edit. Here's a clip of my exhaust. (Headphones to fully appreciate the tone)
