WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL That is a whole lot different!

I was thinking those mounting plates would run a huge amount extra.

Looks like I will be keeping this on the purchase list!

PM sent with a better explanation for you. The website is live but there is no point of purchase yet because I don't want to take money for things I don't have ready to ship out the door. www.uptopoverland.com

Absolutely amazing, Good job OP! It amazes me how committed and crafty some people are lol, not me. That rack looks like it's been on the market and produced by a company that's been doing it for a while.

That sounds like a much better number! Seeing as a prinsu is about $675 with shipping out to MA at $79, that sounds like an awesome price to me!

Hey man thank you so much. A lot of research that's for sure. It needed to be one of those things that just worked.Put your stuff where you want it, make sure it's always there. Seemed so basic in the beginning and I didn't know that it would turn into a company. That's for sure. Thanks again.

Hey @Relic_Micah, did you happen to get anywhere with that light bar bracket idea?
Also, what would the pricing be if we decided to have the side rails powder coated like the rest of the rack?

Hey brother it's on my board. So this thing (I think it's going to be called the UNI) will get those 50" light bars on the rack and they will have about 1.0" of vertical adjustment to let you position them as low as you can to eat up the gap. I'm going to throw the front and rear brackets in with your order when we get to that point because it was your idea. :)

I know you said on an earlier post that you are going to sell some things separately such as the bolt on handles. Will these be available on the site as well? I already have a prinsu, but I’m interested in some of your accessories. Thanks.

So the small side plates that are drilled to lace paracord for the grab handles will be available in kits with the spacers and hardware, on our website. It wouldn't be to difficult to add them to other racks, just a small hole and a tap set. The handles I used are from GPCA and I really like them. I will probably just share the love and prompt people to order from those guys. They are Jeep oriented but they are going to learn to embrace Yota pilots in short order. Hahahaha.

They come in a ton of colors too.

What part sir? I have a way to ship to a place in anchorage and possibly Wasilla that wouldn't hurt too bad but if that's not close to you give me your zip and I'll find out for you. the shipping box is 8x8x60 and packaged is just under 40 pounds.

We also changed the design for the mount entry points on the Maxtrax, Rotopax, Axe/Shovel brackets to play nice with the arrangement of other bars. The first set I tunnel visioned and cut for ours but that's been addressed. The mount brackets, etc... will hit the site about the same time as the racks do and will be available to purchase individually. :)

Quick question, will the rack be configurable to still use the sunroof? As long as nothing is mounted over the sunroof, will it be covered ?

The way we hug the roof...in the original configuration it won't clear the sunroof. Couple of options would be a taller spacer, or a relocation of the bars to allow the sunroof to function. We have a truck coming this weekend to fit a topper rack and if it has a sunroof I will be able to make the final adjustments to allow them to fit the trucks with the sunshine hole.

@Relic_Micah if we get side rails powder coated like the rest of the rack, is there an estimated price on that? You also mentioned separate pricing for the grab handles, price on those by any chance?

The pricing for the brackets and mounts for the gear, handles, etc.... is on the white board right now TBD. You can get the side armor powder coated through us for about $50 or so. Will just need a heads up in the order because until we really hit our stride he's got other business to tend to and it can take a day or two to get our stuff in his production line.
