I took mine off a long time ago now, and my fuel mileage never changed from it. It did get slightly noisier. The biggest hit was after initially installing a/t tires. So now it's more of a choice of whether I want 17-20 mpg from normal driving or 21-24 mpg from obeying the speed limit. On long trips I still get around 24-28 mpg tops.

 

It looks way better without it too!!! Kinda looks like u lifted the front without doing anything to it

My TRD OR only had a cigarette lighter socket and a usb plug in that position, the stock USB port/cable was long enough to reroute and mount inside the glove box. I used the wires from the cigarette lighter to put another usb in the armrest console.

Also added a front locker switch to the upper console.

 

So you think Toyota engineers put the air dam on the truck to cut back mpg's? You funny if you believe what that dude told you.

Great question. They are OEM Lexus. There's a thread on them somewhere.....

 

Except for the cap this is the exact look I am going for with my SR 4x4 MGM. I really like the contrast of the wheels to the MGM. I don't think this color works well with black wheels.

 

Let me know how they work! Once my Goodyear Wrangler's wear out, I am looking for these as well for a good On/Off road tire perhaps.

 

Not much going on, so I brought my tire carrier project to work today. Got a few good coats of self etching primer on there for now.

 

After last night/this morning’s ice storm, compared to the factory Toyo’s these were night and day. WAY better than I anticipated. As for off-road, I will let you know once I get them out at the tree farm when the thaw starts.

 

Ordered: OEM all weather mats, black chrome oem exhaust tip, Morimoto XB fog-lights and the Meso Gasshole, because, why not? Plenty more to come.

I've put 15k miles on mine and I still like them a lot. They're wearing nicely.
