Has anyone tried a Pedal Commander to dial back the tip in on the performance tunes?

I'm getting errors trying to download any of the base files for the 2019 o4b30 auto. Performance and gearlock download fine so I'm assuming those files aren't ready to be distributed yet?

No but I ran one on 1.05 87 base. Flashed 1.05 91 base last night and drove home with Sprint Booster turned off. Than drove back to work this morning with it off. I'm pretty sure Sprint booster will be back on by the end of the day. Both 1.05 base 87 & 91 don't have what I'm use to. Ran the Sprint Booster, Shift Sense & ECT mod before Ovtune.
Hopefully one of the Performance tunes will fit the bill when they arrive.

If the tip in was half way between where it is on performance and the new Base, the tune would be perfect!

I had some odd shifting behavior on 87 performance tune. Definitely noticed the tip in though and enjoyed it. I've only got about 15 miles on it so I'm going to wait and see how it goes. I did clear learned values with TS so I assume its back to square one for the engine.

15 miles is barely enough for fuel trims to get adjusting. Outside of major issues, ignore any oddities for at least 50 miles.

I figured as much so thanks for confirmation. I definitely had a better control of the tip in by the end of my commute. My cul de sac has a patch of ice on the exit and my first use of that throttle lit up traction light like crazy. And then I smiled.

I'm going to take it out on my lunch break and some more miles and smiles.

Does Pedal Commander allow you to turn down pedal feedback from a base line? Sprint Booster only goes up in sensitivity unless you select Valet mode which drastically reduces pedal input. In fact, I would like to run 1.05 91 performance but still somehow have sprint booster connected to reduce the power by 30% for when my wife takes the truck. Simple push of a button and she can’t get rowdy with it. The Lock-out feature is also pretty nice.

Fuel Trims I understand but tip-in will never change with additional mileage correct?

Anyone new running the new tunes. You MUST let the tune settle. It smooths out amazingly well. I had a lot of fun last night with the base tune in only the 87 octane. These new tunes are awesome and if you haven’t got at least 150-200 miles on the tune you really can’t judge it because it is NOT the same until it is settled

Did you try SSP with any of the latest versions of 1.05 ?
Is it no longer needed ?

Shifting was good right off the bat with 1.05 87. Did not use SSP. After 200 miles I did start using Sprint Booster on Sport Set to 8. Made Tip in much better. Also using ECT always on.

Switched to 1.05 91 base last night. Shifting is also good. Tip in is not what I like. May use Sprint Booster tonight to see how it goes. Hopefully 1.05 91 Performance will have the Tip-In the way I like it.

Actually posted my SSP Forsale last night on TW & Craigslist. OVTune’s shifting is good.

Only been using Sprint Booster on Base 1.05 87. (O4B03) to help with Tip-In. Shift Sense Pro is unnecessary with the Ovtune.

New tune bumped me up a couple mpg on average so far. Been doing really well. Guessing with all the different crap we do it’s just going to require tweaking. See how the 12 hour drive goes on the way home today since we got more mountains in the way.... see if I decide to wait on boost or over gear too :annoyed:

Ok so I completed all of the steps here https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...CTIONS_V.1_-_UPDATED.pdf?11913259822523419483
Idk what to put for the options in the drop down menu. It didnt say to fill it out on the instructions in the link, but IDK if I should have done it. If I need to do so now (Im in the download and install FM before the tuning kit arrives) it presents a problem because I dont know what ECU Calibration I have...Where can I check? Or will that be brought up once I connect the computer to the truck?

You won't know until you can connect or have something to get the ID off the ECU
