Good tar there, I’ve had several sets over the years the OG grapplers wore fast the G2s are legit but a little noisy.

 

Upgrade your radio, or sound deadner on the floor an doors, maybe some new weather strippers.

 

Might check on the Yoko ATS's. I found they were the best priced truck tire without going to one of the unknown brands. Also look pretty good, and have less road noise than the Yoko HTS's I replaced them with. I think I ended up paying around $600 mounted/balanced, but for 265/70-17s

 

Downgrade your ears, or think of the road noise as conversations with your SO

 

Well, then,,, that sucks for you. Can't believe they wouldn't be replacing them with something comparable though, too big a market to ignore.

 

Also had yoko geolanders on a fronty was a great tire not the most aggressive AT but was silent an good in rain.

Yup, I had the Geolander HTS on my last truck, was very happy with them, they lacked snow/ice traction, but that wasn't a big problem for me. Then had a set of the HTS on the Tacoma when I upgraded my wheels, happy with those. But then when I needed a new set a few months ago, the HTSs got weirdly more expensive, so I looked at the Geo ATS which were much better priced, with a more aggressive tread, but still rated and reviewed very well for street-queen usage. I've been quite happy with them for the few months of usage so far.

I run the Ridge Grapplers now and love them. Chad does too. However, I want to see how the Terra Grapplers when (if) these wear out so I plan on switching to see if I can increase my MPGs.

I will use the Terra's primarily as a summer tire, and buy new (take offs or steelies) wheels and swap things out. So Terra's on my Ray 10s and Ridge's on beaters. I want to do a test and see how the Terra's are in the snow though. If they will be acceptable then I will store the Ridge's for off roading only.

Terras are horrible in snow in my past experiences. The snow would pack in between the treads an slip an slide all over.
