No one is mentioning how the Ranger popped out of 4LO into 4HI without the driver manually doing so. That's scary. Especially going downhill. Must have a speed setting if going to fast in 4LO that it will switch to 4HI. Sketchy.

 

Agree but what is the threshold do you figure? Seems to me that 4L should be able to accomadate the speeds on this type of trail.

I'm confused as well. Could be a possibility with the 10 speed transmission that 4 LO can only use a certain amount of gears. Example; it will go into 4 HI after 4LO 4th gear since the ratio could be similar? I doubt the Ranger is that smart though.
