I know quite a bit about flashers. I would go with the m3. Best bang for the buck of any flasher on the market.

So I went ice fishing Sunday ( with not much luck). I have these ice cleats that stretch over boots. Well, my boots are too wide and one or the other come undone and fall off.... not good!
A buddy off my had a bunch of quarter inch sheet metal screws and suggested I screw them into my boots into the meaty part. So I did .I put six of them in each shoe on the front part of the shoe and four on the heels of each shoe.
Let’s just say I used 40 cents worth of screws versus twenty plus dollars for cleats and hands down the sheet metal screws were by far way better!
    Anybody ever try this?
I meant to take pic of this before work and forgot. Maybe later

Sounds like a good idea. But I like being able to take my cleats off when I get into the truck or walk into a building so I dont rip stuff up without having to change into another pair of boots/shoes

Don't think I'm far from crawling in the rack. That 1.5 hours sleep last night has caught up with me. :bored:

Absolutely, but they worked outstanding in a pinch.
Gonna look into Yak tracks or stable icers( I think that is correct) some that strap around top of boot to hold them on.
If I took those boots into my house I would destroy my wood floors. So....

My roommate has a pair of the yak tracks and really likes them.

I need to find some bells to put on my surf rod for night fishing and glow sticks that actually fit well on tip

I'd glue some bells to clothes pins and pinch them around the rod at the tip. If they slip and spin around you could put a bit of rubber or something else tacky on the inside of the clip to hold it in place.
