Always cracks me up when people think you need a big bike to be a "man" or have fun. Enjoy the bike, it looks awesome man. I almost pulled the trigger on a Sporty 1200 Nightster myself a couple months ago when they were offereing 1% financing.

I've been bouncing back and forth on getting one as well...congrats to you man! From a past bike experience, I dont want to pull the trigger on the 883, and grow out of it like I did on a 500CC sport bike. Love the Iron look though!

The 1200 Sporty's will generally run circles around any of the big twins except maybe the big inch Screamin Eagle models... I have ridden all sorts of bikes in many different brands and sizes currently ride a big twin now but would be proud to have that bike in my garage... Damn nice lookin' scooter... Smart ass comments usually come from non riders or those that ride in $500.00 helmets and wearing shorts and flip flops...

I'm not a Harley fan at all, but if I had to, it would be a sportster. Where'd you buy it?
