Same thing happened to a friend of mine when he was delivering an RV in bumf*** Wyoming. Transfer case blew up. A 2013 3500 Cummins automatic dually

 

And trying it will make you pee your pants

 

My butthole tried to eat the seat when I came close in the taco, can't imagine being in the cruiser doing that. But I'd probably still try it

 

It's well beyond that lol. I tried a bit but it just made it look worse

 

Take your new fender to be vacuformed, rock clear plastic fenders or have a bunch of cheap ones on hand to paint how you please

 

Clear one would just show the ugly body skeleton underneath lol. Although if I painted that part it might not look so bad



It is nice having more a bit more tire clearance now I gotta say

 

I painted up there when I put my bumper on, might as well cover it better

They look good compared to other new midsize trucks on they market I'll give them that, especially when lifted and modified well. But the minivan motor would keep me out of one. I would get a late model 2nd gen too if I ever need to get a bigger truck.

 

It's raining hardcore. Which sucks because I really wanted to paint below the body line and on the edges of the bed on the taco.

 

2nd gens are getting cheap AF now. When I was looking for vehicles after rolling the taco I noticed you can pick up a decent one for a shade over 13k
