No shuddering that I've noticed, and I've been very low in the RPM range in 5th because the FOB tune pulls so well down low. Gotta be due to the auto tranny playing games.

Same on FOB 91 for 04B13, you can drive at 30mph in 6th and maintain speed and accelerate without difficulty. No weirdness that I've noticed. The BFO test file was the same.

On a side note, 2nd seems slightly held back in the 2200-2800 rpm range. If you're pulling hard in 1st and shift above that range, it goes like a scalded cat. If you get on it while in that range though, it seems to smoothly accelerate and then all of a sudden take off (below the 3500 kick). Yes guys, I know it's kinda low in the RPM band for these engines, but previous tunes would pull harder than this in that range. Not a complaint, just a note. Lol, I don't want to give up the low end in this file!
Midrange is awesome on the highway though, effortless in 6th at 70. I was following this Grand Cherokee doing 90 the other day, for shits and giggles. No problem.

Also, how is that single table file coming?

Im sorry if this post is out of place but I have an auto 2018 and it was not nice to drive in low rpms even with 4.88 gears. After the latest 1.05 mpg 91 update it is really good. I have no problem cruising at 1k to 1.5k rpms. With the first release of 1.05 it was dead in thattrange and I had to jam the gas pedal to get the truck moving.

10-20% increase for me on the highway. Seeing 20+ with cold and winter fuel. I’d been 17-18 prior to 1.05FOB

I haven’t noticed anything weird yet over 300ish miles. 1.05FOB 87. Truck seems very happy <2000 rpm, actually feels normal for once.

Never noticed this problem running stock, 1.04 91 or 1.05B 93.

Thanks, if this tune makes more low end power, improves driveability and improves my MPG's then I'm likely going to order it. 20% improvement the tune would pay for itself over time in fuel costs alone.

Yep. At my pre-tune costs and MPGs, a 2mpg bump pays for it in about 5yrs. If fuel costs increase, then even faster.

    Mostly stuff I built.

04B13 1.05 FOB 91 Smooth and running with mine even with all the extra weight hanging off of it. Patiently waiting for the single table Fat Kid tune.

Just tested this on my commute and didn't have any issues. Sounds like a slushbox problem lol

On my to work in the morning while cruising around 70mph in 6th gear I get the bumpy road feeling/very faint stuttering. This happens in on a small grade (5-7%) with an outside temp of 35-40 degrees F. It has been present on every @OVTune I've run so far. (1.04, 1.04R. 1.05, 1.05 FOB all 91oct) I'm not sure if it did it on the stock tune or not. I haven't flashed back to stock to try.

No shuddering from my truck (2017, TRD, OR, 265/70x17 BFGs, 9500 miles)

I would also like to add that I really like the FOB. Makes the truck more smooth and functional at lower RPM. Also makes the shift from 1->2 much more comfortable. I think there were some other posts that said you had not touched rev hang, but it certainly seems like it is reduced. Maybe it is indirectly impacted by the FOB, either way ---> GREAT PROGRESS!

Just flashed 93 FOB and drove 20 miles. Very impressed with the performance right out of the chute, know from experience it will improve even more with miles. Nice easy fairly linear tip-in, seemingly better power below 2-3K RPM, very fat (or is it phat) mid-range and high-end. Drives like it should have from the factory.

Every iteration has gotten better - 1.04 91, 1.05 93 and now 93 FOB. Every flash went without a hitch, worked first time, truck started right up, ran better than before, and got better with more miles.

The ONLY hitch I've encountered in three flashes is, I have to remember to temporarily disable my anti-virus/security software (Norton Internet Security) to allow the Flash Manager to run. Otherwise, it's all been good!

Mat is on his game :)

That could be something else, driveline vibrations, out of balance wheel, or even maybe the road is bumpy. Do you only notice it under power?

yes, only under load and only when I'm climbing a slight grade. It's pretty obvious its coming from the engine. If I let off the gas slightly it goes away. If down shift to raise the RPM's its not present either.

Is anyone running 93 FOB with other aftermarket parts? I have AFE CAI and URD Spec u and was wondering how it is performing for others with similar mods. No issues on mine it runs great. Just curious.

Mine is up for highway cruising. A few hundred miles definitely helps.
