If you were to remove half the population and most of the government, CA would be close to perfect. Unfortunately those things make it a struggle to enjoy living here.

Maybe it's the angle of the photo but those tires look like they rub that truck something fierce

fuck me it really is the end times

Not surprising though considering the 5 freeway/grapevine has been a freaking mess these past few weeks...most people out here are not equipped to drive in inclement weather let alone when there's ice on the freeway, and the grapevine has been getting a lot of it recently. CHP has been escorting traffic through there in groups for awhile now.

I have surface rust spots on my frame just from my 5 days in Tahoe a couple weeks ago. Can't imagine what its like living somewhere where you're around road salt every year.
They said it wasn't salt up there but whatever it was it obviously isn't any better for the frames

My poor roommate left around 12 from San Francisco to hit the slopes in Big Bear. I don’t think he got there yet.

Why the hell is he coming all the way down here to ski?? You guys have the Sierras way closer than Big Bear is. Plus Big Bear is a freaking mess right now...only one highway is open going in and they are requiring 4x4 and chains right now. He's going to spend hours in traffic going up that mountain
