It's at my house now. The rules say you cannot remove artifacts and antiquities. This didn't look like an antique to me.:notsure:

Ive scavenged one nice buck and one bull moose so far. The moose was real bad since it just rotted. The buck I found didnt get a chance to rot, I found it by the birds before it got a chance to rot.

If you found that on my side of the river then you need a salvage tag,not sure about Missouri.

I’ve only found 3 so far, haven’t had much opportunity to go. I’m getting 3 garages full of my dads stuff ready for auction this coming Saturday. Starting next Sunday it’s full bore shed hunting.

I've had to work lots of overtime. Ain't had time to do much of anything. The few days I've had off it usually rains. Still hearing reports of some bucks with both sides.

They’re starting to find quite a few around here, my buddy and his nephew found 8 the other evening. They were only out for about 2 hours.

Been away for awhile. Thoughts of quitting archery floated around in my head. Reasons? Sore shoulders and my shooting eye has gotten weaker.

I rallied! I bought a left hand bow used. Tried it and it was okay. Still painful. Didn’t help that I crashed my mtn bike and exasperated the situation. I ordered new limbs. 50-60lb limbs. Just got the bow back. Tuned it and I’m shooting well. Swapping hands is like starting over. I’m way better now shooting lefty than I was when I started righty. It took months to shoot good groups at 30 yards. I am pretty good at 30 after four range sessions.

My arrows are slow! 242 FPS with bow at 55lbs. When I get stronger I’ll Max out my new limbs to hopefully 62lbs. Should get me to 258fps.

My broad heads hit with my FT at 20. I’m good enough for spring turkey.

    I’m back!

You could find some lighter arrows to help get the speed up. Don't exactly need a hard hitter for turkey. Lighter weight, flatter trajectory, higher speed, all good things! I'm using Easton Hexx right now, they're a solid .001 straightness, about 8 grains per inch (in 330 spine, you could probably swing 400 spine pretty easily), and not "that" expensive.

True. I bought three dozen custom arrows when I got my bow tuned. They are only 430 gr. They are over spined but are flying awesome. Thankfully For me. Easier to tune over spined arrows rather than the beer spined.

I’m getting antsy to get back out again. I’ve been getting my dads garages cleaned out and ready for auction this Saturday. So far I’ve hauled 4 trailer loads of scrap to the scrap yard and I’ve hauled 3 trailer loads and 2 truck loads of stuff to the auction site, I’m hoping one more trip will do it. That’s what happens when you never throw anything away!!

I use to walk all day. Now, after about 4 hours, those boots start getting heavy. Post some pics when you start hauling in those bones.

I went into my archery shop to try out some new bows and spend my tax money. Planned on either the Hoyt Helix. PSE Evoke 31, or Mathews Vertix. They all shot great, but then the owner suggested I try a Bowtech Realm and then the Realm SS. Holy crap, did I love the feeling and how those bows shoot. I never would have tried Bowtech if it wasn't for the owner recommending it. Moral of the story, always be open minded to new ideas and listen to people with more experience.

I put a $100 down on a Realm SS in Kryptek Altitude camo. I didn't have my bow with me, so I'm gonna hopefully head back down this weekend and get my new bow. I'm also gonna shoot the SR6 again and the Mathews Vertix just to make sure. The shop said they have no problem with me changing my mind and will still hold my SS for me until I get there. Store was Schubach's archery in Jackson Michigan.

Schubach's archery is a great store, thats where I bough my Bowtech Reign 7 from. I did the same as you and shot all of the flagship bows, and liked the Bowtech the best.

That's awesome. Yeah, the other shot great, but that Bowtech just felt so natural in the hand. I guess they are easy to work on too.

Agreed. I'm avoiding Schubach's archery cause I will walk out with a SR6 haha. I've had my Reign 7 on comfort setting, havent even tried it yet on performance haha
