I'm torn on how easy it needs to be able to put the seats back in. I think it would be nice but dont really see myself changing it because I take the dogs out with me weekly or more. I also want it foldable like the seats for easy access to all compartments.

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.

I have had an idea for a full replacement for the rear seat in my head for a bit that I need to build. It would be similar to the previous one but with changes as I would want to keep the rear seat cubbies in place. As far as the underseat storage, I would need to figure out a way still access it, but then again I don't really store anything there anyways and on trips I would not want to store anything there anyways as it would be a huge pain in the ass to get stuff out since the platform would have stuff on it.

But doing a full replacement would allow for a fridge slide and mounting the fridge sideways and all that fancy overland shit...

When we did the big bend trip, I took out the seat bottoms and just laid the seat backs down as they laid down flatter, then I just threw the cooler on the passenger side and that worked really well... so maaay have to start doing that again for mean time.

For trips, both seat bottoms get flipped forward, and the passenger side back gets folded down. Suitcases/bags go on that. Roadie goes on the driver side, so my wife can access it while we’re moving. Theoretically I could remove all the seats and go platform too, and do the molle/aluminum replacement panel, but I’m not ready for that level of commitment.

Also, sometimes I drive people. (Rarely, but it happens).

Yea, it is super easy to remove the seat bottoms, 14mm (I think) is all it takes and two bolts per half of the seats and they come out, then the seat backs fold down a lot better and you retain the floor space to throw stuff as well. The one reason I would want to go full platform is to do a fridge slide as well as some form of drawer system, but yes, like you said, I also have people in the back like @Mugshot89 was when we were at Hidden Falls... but going forward, not sure how often I would have people riding with me except one passenger anyways.

You could also build the platform split to where if needed you could just remove say the drivers side of it and leave the passenger side and put the seat back in?

Possibly. Would need to do some research on this though.

    Exactly.

I’ll pull the bottom this weekend; I need to take a good look at it and check my options.

...but I’d also like to install my extended brake lines, if weather permits.

Yes. Always. And only having a couple weeks of actual work time remaining before Jambo isn’t helping!

On a more positive note though, I was able to email back and forth a bit with Joe from Mobtown, and everything there seems to be working out, and I’m assured I’ll get my bumper with time to install it before Jambo.

Yeah if I could afford it I'd buy the whole thing but I may just try to do something similar down the road. Unfortunately its so new I haven't found many pictures besides the ones on their website yet.

    Same here.

Currently, I’m thinking I leave the vertical seat-back in place. Cooler goes almost up against it, but leaves about 1” for the lid to easily open.
Platform is hinged to allow access to cubby.
Platform stops right at front “floor”, with vertical support. This will allow my medical bag to easily ride between platform and my seat.

Need to see if I have enough carpet leftover from tailgate to line the platform as it will look nicer. If not, I’ll order vinyl. Easier to clean.

That's a solid plan. You may be able to use the seat hinge as the front support/hinge as its just bolted to the bottom of the seat.

If I go down that road I'll probably remove the rear cushions too and replace the back cubbies with something like the docloco molle panel. May try to bedline the platform or do carpet but it would be harder to clean.
