Figure out how to get it done if you possibly can. If we can ever get to a meet at the same time I'll give you a smile and show you what happens on the "un-braced" side.

Insurance companies would fully cover braces 10 years ago. It's always my generation to not get anything lmao.

Interesting, because I'm pretty sure my mom had to come out of pocket for my sister's braces more than 20 years ago

Had to get them for both of my sons, we had partial coverage that helped, but still paid a good chunk on it. But, for them, there was no question we were getting done.

Our health insurance will fully cover braces ONLY IF it is a threat to my skull, and things like that. My teeth are just gapped lol.

Just dropped a letter in the mail. Start's the final application process for full disability. Boss cast the tie-breaking vote yesterday when he told me "If it were up to me, you wouldn't get a bonus". Before it IS up to him, I'm getting out of here. He also made a smart ass comment about "people who over stayed their welcome" talking about 2 of us who are the only remaining long term employees left.

Not staying just to beat ANOTHER asshat.

2 quarts of 140 proof vodka and two 1/2-gallons of orange juice. = Drove a Jeep CJ7 through a yard, a fence, and across a busy 4-lane hwy without stopping (or seeing) Don't remember a damn thing.

2 weeks later I quit drinking for 8 years. When I started again, I've never been able to reach the levels I did before.

'Cept for bourbon. Can still throw down some good bourbon.

Our dental coverage was from civil service when I was a kid. My mom always complained the coverage was not that good. Medical coverage was from my father's Army service

Living square in the heart of bourbon country doesn't hurt either! If the wind is blowing the right direction, I live close enough to several name brand distilleries so that we can smell it aging!

4 Roses just won an award for the best bourbon made...(Not sure WHO decides that, but...) Their distillery and warehouse facilities are just down the road a piece. Closest is Jim Beam. (Not high on my list BTW)

Favorite is Elijah Craig 18 year old small batch.

I used to drink strictly for the buzz. If it tasted good, so much the better. Now days, it's gotta taste good and the buzz is icing on the cake!
