Wondering if this is a common thing or if I should bring it up at last free service?

Bottom part part of windshield...about a foot to the right of driverside edge...about 3 feet in length from left to right...I get condensation on inside of windshield...all windows are up...have never seen any kind of leek there...just wondering is anyone else getting it...Knob is set on defrost (in case air is coming in there). We had snow and ice on Wednesday and then 61 degrees on Thursday.......17dcsb
My old daily beater 98 camry doesn't get this but I do drive it every day.

Check your rear brake light. It could be leaking.

The leaking 3rd Brake Light is a real issue and should be checked for moisture.

I thought I saw a thread where a guy had snow building up on his cab filter, and his windows were fogging up. maybe the same thing?

It’s been reported that it is a result of wet/snowy boots leaving water on the floor mats which then had nowhere to go and as it evaporates and it condenses on the windshield. You can clean the inside of your windshield with isopropyl alcohol and it should mitigate the issue but it will continue to happen during these colder months unless you get more circulation in the cab.
Alcohol freezes at slower temp than water so it is less prone to fogging up and/or condensing on glass. I learned that at my first job scooping ice cream at a local shop. My boss at the time told me to always clean the display cases with alcohol and I never forgot it.

Did you leave your vents set to defrost? If I leave mine on defrost I will get condensation in the middle of the windshield. If I put it on feet or upper body no condensation. There are a few threads on this and that seemed to do the trick.

Setting on defrost will activate the AC which removes moisture form the air.

While the truck is on, correct. However, leaving it set to defrost overnight causes the condensation in the middle of the windshield for a few of us on here.

Edit: At least for a handful of us the condensation has not returned since doing the above. I did leave it on defrost once in the last month or so and the condensation was back on the windshield the next morning..YMMV
