with epoxy we are really limited. depends on how cold it is. 9/10 times its a one step per day process. Today I laid a hot coat, and peeled the tape like 3 hours later, but would need like 8 hours before i could flip it and hotcoat the other side. if you do a lamination, it will take like 4-5 hours before you can flip the board to cut the lap. using UV cure poly is the dream. you could build a whole board in a day no problem.

That's what I figured. It's been working out, and saving time, to put in work after the day job and then once again at lunch.

Finally got the vinyl sticker my sister made on the truck. I like it a lot. Waves for stripes! Hit her up if you want one. @PikestacoSister

Oof cold morning. 40* outside. Water was low 50s. First time I’ve ever worn booties. Made the walk down and back nice. Can’t say I enjoy surfing with them on though.

Quick question, I'm on the verge of buying a new truck, and I got a 5'4, 5'8 and 6'3. Would those fit ok in a shortbed (diagonal maybe)?

Yeah, they will but you may need to build a little platform to get the 6'3 above the wheel wells or put one edge in the bottom corner. Will definitely need to be diagonal. When I was buying my new truck I preferred a long bed but a short bed is what I got a deal on.

Envy you west coasters...except for the cold water.

About the only time we get biggish waves is when a hurricane is a couple hundred miles off the coast.

I'm old with spine problems, so a 2 or 3 foot glassy day makes me most happy on a log.

Had a lot of longboards over the years, all shaped by local shapers. This is the only one I have now, wanted a old school board, wish I'd had him do a wood fin now.

So good to hear! thanks. I was hoping I'd be able to get a tonneau and lock boards in there, looks like it will be possible.

    Yup thats what I do.
Where I live you, in order to maximize fun you need to bring at least 2 boards at all times!

How are you liking that board? I ended up getting one too. Cant wait to use it at the spot I had in mind for it. It definitely likes overhead waves.
