which gas station you prefer?

87 QT (Quiktrip).

I've only put 87 in my truck since I bought it in 2005. Runs great & has 96,000 miles on it.

 

Chevron 87

 

Terrible Herbst 89,For road trips 91.

 

nothing but Chevron or Shell

 

Wherever it's cheapest....

Anything Shell. Shell gas just seems to last longer than wawa or any other cheap gas out there. The higher octanes run longer but i use regular usually. I don't use BP ever got a bad tank of gas there and the truck shut down on the highway. NOT GOOD! So myself and my brothers use only shell unless its not available. Locally there are 2 shell stations. Equidistant apart from where i live the one to the south is $3.45 the one to the north is $3.20. Duh no contest. The one to the north is competing directly with a WaWa so its prices are always cheaper.

 

I try to use Shell 87, then Mobil 87 is my second choice.

 

I haven't tried too many different stations around here with my new Taco, but on my old 4Runner I got terrible mileage when I filled up at the local Shell station. Conoco was usually much better, so I tend to fill up there. The local Shell station also gouge's the hell out of their prices... They're usually $.20 higher per gallon than everyone else, and probably still at $4/gallon for 85 octane.

I run premium and from one of only two stations in town without ethonal, so it is either Exxon or Chevron....

 

You actually found a station without ethanol? I may drive to Idaho to get some!

 

It is hard to do here, but there are some.... In Boise the couple they have put it on their signs advertising REAL GAS where as most places are trying to advertise the ethonal to make people think it is actually good......

 

Exxon regular only because my dad works for them LOL.

 

regular 87 and i go to safeway you get an extra 3 cents of if you a club member

 

I run QT 89. Shell is the highest priced in this area. QT has good gas and they take care of their equipment. The one time I had to use their advertised gas guarantee, bad tankful, they came through on their word with no questions asked. Sent out their adjuster to my work, cut a repair check on site, signed, no questions asked.

 

Shell 87. I have the Shell Citi card which rebates 5% for gas purchases from Shell. It usually works out to equal to or less than the price of the cheap stations. I found a fairly cheap Shell that sells for $3.43/gal. With the discount that makes it $3.26/gal.

 

Heard today they are forecasting gas to go down to 3.00 here...so

 

I have ran a couple tanks of valero without any problems but I mostly fill up with shell or if I find a cheap Chevron (pigs were flying that day).
