    Hello All!

I recently went from a 2013 Honda Fit to a 2017 Tacoma TRDOR DCLB and must say it is a whole new world! I did want to formally say hello and mention that I appreciate the community and its help (I have read the site for a bit now). I have a lot to learn and do hope I can lean on you all a bit.

Initially I wanted a late generation 2 Taco, such as a 2014 or 2015, but have not had success as everything I find seems to be either beat up or the engine is suspect. By a bit of luck, I came across the TRDOR DCLB and low miles with only 4,200. I am a little concerned with the 3.5L vs. 4.0L engine debate that seems to be continuing, but hopefully all will work out (I already did the TSB 0062-18 update).

I did, however, have two "mods" I wanted to ask about. I have been reading various sites and reviews as I would like to add a front/rear dash cam as well as a solid brush guard. I like these two so far, but I would very much like to hear what you all might recommend:

    Thoughts?

No matter what, it is very nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum, post pics of your Taco. Get a bed mat if it doesn’t already have one, best mod for under $100!

You can get a mount adapter on shapeways for your rexing dashcam as long as it's not the LG model. Then it can be mounted right to your GoPro mount.

    Welcome :)

Nice! Thank you! I have not bought a dash cam yet, thus are you familiar with the Rexing? I do like that I could directly mount it to the GoPro mount.

    Thanks again!

Yeah I had one for a while. I felt the rear camera didn't have high enough resolution for me so I got a different one. But the rexxing is nice and quite a few people on here have one. Just make sure you update the firmware before you install it. Mine used to get really hot before I updated it. :violent:
