This makes me sad......I rarely use my heated seats, but between not knowing or being able to control where I live next pretty much was what made me get the heated seats with the premium package (and the locker with the OR trim). This good ol' Florida boy definitely fears the snow.

I just can't decide between Clazzio Napa Leather or Katskinz.

Slight lean to Katskinz. Clazzios to me still look like a seat cover.

Either way I want heated seats.

I swapped them out and got the Pro leather. They only have a few thousand miles on them and my rig was purchased new. I’ll even throw in the factory head rests for free!

You actually saved dash space for more switches. It looks clean and not out of place. Square round or whatever
.. if you see some of the mods on this site no one appears to be all that concerned about matching everything.

Thanks. I actually had to buy the 5 slot panel as my truck only came with 3 switches. For me the biggest driving factor is trying to keep it as factory looking as possible. It's extremely satisfying to do a mod and have people not realize it's modded.

I'll have to look at my truck, but I believe I tied everything to the battery with inline fuses and relays. I'll check tomorrow for sure. I did tap into a line behind the dash for the lights on the switch itself.

Did my Clazzios and heated seats this week. For $500 clazzio seat covers, $100 heated seat kit from eBay and 100 bucks for professional wiring job I'm happy as can be. I installed everything but the wiring, had them move the q switch over and put my heated switches at the end of the panel. Very happy, glad I didn't spend money on katskins and there install price. Looks good. If I ever have my dash apart again I am going to move my passenger seat switch to the outboard position. It is my only regret with my setup.

Actually if I ever have my dash apart i'm going to order the 6 blank panel and add some more switches lol.

I had some katzkin leather seats installed and they put the heat switch on the sides of the seat out of sight. They are the circular switches likes the ones in the above picture.

For 600 bucks do Clazzios, add your own heated seat kit for another 100 bucks and your set. I mean yeah the Clazzios are covers but it's really hard to tell. The fit and thickness looks to be very durable. The round switches on the sides of the seats just isn't for my taste, I don't like it there and doesn't look factory. Just my opinion but one good thing is any issues arise on my seats covers I can get a section as needed and can install myself. I'm now ordering another set of heated seat kit and I'm doing the rear seats next week.

classes are a cover.......if somethings goes wrong you can just remove them and be back at OEM level.......Katskinz are a complete seat re-cover.....you lose the OEM cover.......if something cuts or goes wrong, you can't just take off.....thats one reason the Katskinz cost so much more....that and the fact they use third party installers

That will work as I have heard but it may take a little longer to heat up since it has to go through the cloth the the Clazzios. It should be ok and if I was in your shoes I do the same damn thing. You got the heated seats already, I mean you can take them out and re attach them on top of the cloth seats. I attached my to the bottom of my Clazzio seat covers. Again they are simple to remove and are held on with double sided carpet tape.
