Yep! I'm kind of a fan of 2 Low with a manual transmission. Being able to creep a trailer or back up my steep driveway without burning up the clutch is a plus for me. Once you've had it, it's hard to not have it lol. I'll recommend it to anyone.

Good find, the only thing i am concerned with is whether the UCon will cause any issues with this. It intercepts a bunch of the stock ECU's signals, but 4wd does function with it. I posted up in that thread to see if anyones running it with the UCon. Might try to do twin sticks just for more stuff to shift lol :D

I’m not sure the 2lo module would be useful to me but gonna try the yellow wire mod this weekend at HF.

Oh man, me too, especially after driving without my front driveshaft in. I use 2Lo everyday to back into my spot at work. So much better to go slow and be in control than try to slip the clutch in reverse

    Agreed, the more the merrier!

@hoverlover do you have any idea how you're going to set up your handles for your twin sticks? Like are you going to try and put them near the trans shifter or utilize some of the cupholders?

That's a simple option, kind of like a backwards ADD switch. My issue with that is you're still using the Tacoma xfer case. And those actuators suck donkey farts.

Pretty much the only reason I’m doing this whole mod, I need me some more switches n levers n shit!

I’m planning on bending them to come up next to the shifter, both on the driver side if possible. I am fully prepared to pull the transmission shifter and bend it if I need to as well.

Interesting, i was considering trying to get them both by the passenger side near the shifter. Would like to keep my cupholders, because Merica

I kinda figured most folks tried to put them on passenger side since reverse is on the driver side. Not sure though..

Ya, I'm not willing to give up a cup holder. I need all three in the center and at least one in each door. I thirsty.

That's actually why I want to try the drivers side, reverse is full left and UP with zero down travel. In my mind that opening down and left is usable real estate for shifters. Plus it keeps them handy on my side so win/win if I can pull it off. I'll deal with the crawl box shifter later, that's future me's problem not present me :p

Replaced the worn out front tires today and rotated the rears to the front. They were looking pretty bad.

They've got just enough tread to make good spares.

Looking forward to breaking in the new tires properly at HF tomorrow.

Matt, I remembered you were asking about travel right before they started lowering the truck and snapped these pics for you. The front was still about 3" off the ground.

The +4" brake lines weren't too tight but the wire loom to the locker is almost guitar string. Gonna have to address that soon.
