What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Sweet Jesus. Open up the cowl & bend/screw some wire mesh to the plastic "intake" that's in there. I don't have pics of mine anymore, but it's stupid cheap & easy to keep out all the big stuff.

I soldered on new OEM fog connections (deutsch?) to my replacement @CaliRaisedLed OSRAM 20W pods. My prior pair, also from them, lost 6 of 12 diodes from the Ocotillo Wells washboard roads last month

Now it needs to get dark so I can throw some photons around the cul-de-sac!

06 tacoma had a p0306 code going to do some diagnosing now and see what i found

 

New color match mirrors and handles!

 

Welded on some trail gear diff armor

 

Took the truck to see some snow, mud, and deep water south of Tucson

 

Bought the rest of the tools I needed so I can sound deaden the roof.
Also got some Nitrile gloves so I can pull the carpet and really clean the floor.

Got my windows tinted. 35% front doors, 25% on the rear doors and rear window. Uni filter mod. Tailgate anti theft hose clamp. Kicker 6 3/4s in the rear doors. Would have done them in the front too but I screwed up and only ordered one set of brackets. Crutchfield to the rescue, as they are actually sending me another set for free. Started cutting out new tweeter mounts from .093 lexan. Ordering a new grill and probably a new, better set of 1/2" impact sockets.

Truck looks great! What size tires and how much lift you got?

 

Added a Rexing dash cam. Ran the wiring up to the headliner, down the passenger-side pillar, behind the glove box, and into the cigarette lighter. Also installed the rear cam in my shell but it will need a wire extension and a bit of work if I want to get it cleanly wired.

 

Thanks man! It’s got billies set at 1.75 and 1/4” top spacer, rear is 1 inch block. Tires are 265 70 17

dang, got my prinsu in under a week

 

Pulled the speedo out to fix a few LEDs that quit working. The tach, odo, "D" gear indicator , fuel and coolant quit one at a time over the last few months. While apart I decorated the kph.
Also while apart I changed the bulb in the fog light switch.
