Diet pepsi is sweeter, diet coke has a bitey edge to it. Coke zero has a tinge of lemon. Being diabetic, I am now a connoisseur of diet drinks.

What size is this jack, the 1.5 ton? I would like to do this but am a little concerned the 1.5 ton isn't enough. The price jump to the 2 ton is ridiculous though. I know it'd be fine on the rear axle to lift one side up, but have you used it in the front yet?

Yeah, its the HF 1.5 ton. If you jack off the LCA, you should be fine. but it is def not meant for shop level maintenance. Mainly just a good way to change a spare on the highway or in the dirt real quick.

Yeah that's all it'd be used for. I have my steel 3 ton at home for normal work, and I would just use this for trail work. I have my hi lift, but I don't like using it if I don't have to. I like to have multiple tools so I can use the best thing for the job

My buddy usually brings his hilift, so I bring the regular jack. I hate hilifts, so it works for me. When I get a garage ...and the rest of a house, a good floor jack is priority #1ish along with a decent air compressor.

@Gunshot-6A, will the jack mod work on the 3 ton? I assume they are basically the same jacks?

I honestly have no idea. Only tried it on the 1.5 ton jack I have.

Outkast is the one who discovered the capability and I did a slightly better write up for the 1.5T. I honestly don't think anyone tried before.

I use a different 3 ton bottle jack/stand combo. Actually have, have not used yet. But I realized that the stock bottle jack is useless for 35s

Well, go pick up a 3 ton and the pro eagle base and we can figure out how...

    That is my plan.

I could see this being an issue.

I've got an update to be had, but it'll likely be next week before I get a picture of it mounted on my truck.

Picked up a used Tepui Kukenam from @ripRavioli last night. Gotta unmount my current tent after retrieving my sleeping stuff out of it and likely have a buyer lined up for next week, but we'll see how it shakes out.
