Seriously I was so drunk last night but I still can't believe I was dumb enough to think TTL mattered on this thread last night...hahah.

Yeah man I went ahead and made the deal. Should be here within the first 5 days in March. Super excited!!

I just started making biscuits in the last few months and they're killer, very similar to that recipe. I made some homemade sage breakfast sausage to go along with them and slathered some honey butter on them hoe's, raspberry jam would be good too.

Yes 100%. That's how they make a lot of their money is with trade-ins.

It's might be worth it to wait till the 2020's for the small upgrades that I wish I could hold out for but need a truck now since a shop burnt my 15' down.

Dealerships like late model minty trade ins. Profit margins are higher and it gives them a second chance for credit challenged customers that cannot swing finance on new vehicle but get them into a minty used one that is easier to finance many times.

I'm playing with the idea of getting a new Tacoma. I'm almost positive I'd buy it outright...I know almost nothing about leasing a vehicle, but I'm curious what people think about this "deal" that I'm seeing for Tacomas at my local dealership. Can anyone walk me though what this means? Guess I need to head to youtube for "how leases work."

$299/mo, 36 mo, $4200 at signing, includes a $595 acquisition fee. Tacoma OR DCSB MSRP is $ 38,280. No Security deposit required. Excludes taxes, title, and fees. What happens after 36 months?

I'm looking at leasing a 2019 TRD Pro for MSRP $45,010. They are offering for me to put down $1790. MF of .00233 comes out to a monthly payment of $622. Do you think this is a good deal? or what should I be offering? Please let me know what a killer deal would be since i'm at the end of my 2016 TRD sport 4x4 lease I could just buy that for $26,000 instead.

The reason i'd get this is because wifey wants heated seats and her own climate control since i like it cold and she needs it super hot. The premium package puts me just under what the pro costs so i figure a pro would be better to get.

    50 State Emissions $0.00
TRD PRO Package: All Content Included as Standard Equipment $0.00
    All-Weather Flr Liner/Door Sill Protector $248.00
    D - Rings $55.00
    Mudguards $129.00
    Spare Tire Lock $75.00
    Tailgate Emblem $99.00
    TRD Pro Graphics Package $699.00
    Total Optional Equipment $1,305.00
    Vehicle Base Model $42,660.00
    Delivery Processing and Handling $1,045.00
    Total MSRP*
    $45,010.00

D - rings are not standard?! Shoooot I might have to take mine off my 2011. Seems like there is a lot of extra $$$ personally me, I'd go with an off-road and get the lift separate. From my knowledge the lift and I believe tires are the only difference between pro and OR outside of cosmetics.

Does anyone have any idea of what I should be getting off of MSRP?

    OMG Really?

Just 3 years ago you could get the same for 24500 except it would be 5 speed manual and 4x4.

I do not understand the price hikes. I bought a Nissan 350z in 2005 for just under 30k. Here we are 14 years later and the base model price has NOT CHANGED! It is the exact same price it was 14 years ago.

I understand other models getting new features and technology packages but the base model does not change.

I know this is an a logical response but all I can say is that Nissan won’t have the same value that that Toyota will have a couple years down the line so I always call it the Toyota premium

Toyota knows people will pay it.

I bought the '16 SR5, access cab 4X2, 2.7 I traded off last year for the same money I spent on this '19 SR.

Maybe I’m wrong but I’d say you’re lucky to be getting MSRP. A lot of them are marked up with a “market value” adjustment. I got mine for MSRP. As far as getting an OR instead...if you have all the same features, i.e. premium package, by the time you add a lift you’re getting to about the same price as a pro anyway. And if I had an OR I’d swap wheels/tires, and change the grill, as well as de badge it. So the cost savings of an OR over a Pro would be negligible.

But if I were you I’d purchase rather than lease. The payments won’t be that much more and the depreciation on pros is almost zero.

That’s what I’m saying even though the prices are increasing so is the resell value so I guess that’s the trade-off

If you purchase you could possibly negotiate losing the cost of the graphics package. I’m personally not a fan of it anyway.

I already threw out that I didn't need any of those things including the $699 sticker package. Told them to try to get it in the $5xx w/ zero down and i'd probably sign.
