No. There was only 3 in the warehouse and they sold the first day.

Yep. Have exactly 1 set of 3rd gen DCLB sliders. And they do have fill plates!

Oh fill plates! When I got my BAMF sliders I was very happy with their performance. I have yet to find a rock or stump that makes the DOM kickout yield. Then I noticed an oversight, puppy paws and limbs fit perfectly between the kickout and the cab. My copilot has had many a close call when jumping in and out of the truck especially on slopes/inclines.

So now I find myself curious about some fill plates. I like the dimpled fill plates but it really needs to be less than 3/4" holes to be in the sweet spot. Just enough to let mud and snow fall through but small enough to protect the puppy paws. My vision was for some 1/4" aluminum plate w/ 3/4" dimples that somehow fasten to the inside of the gaps so that the fasteners aren't exposed to sheer points. Maybe more like a dish plate. Probably have to use a rivet gun to retain them. Also probably going to have to fab these myself.

FWIW I ordered my BAMF sliders with fill plates for this reason and no issues so far with the pups and the dimple die.

Done made that trip once this year we drove trucks out from texas to Sacramento via LA. Straight through team driving. 55mph average speed. 62 hours of overtime by the time our plane landed back in austin... long weekend.

But I did see a couple cool unimogs out near Joshua tree

Does anyone know if it’s cash only? I have a buddy stopping by for me and I need to know if I can Venmo him tomorrow when he finds out cost or if I should Venmo him today and have him stop by an ATM/Bank on the way tomorrow.

I went today and grabbed a front bumper real quick. CASH ONLY. Lots of little bits but not many options for bumpers. I should clarify, lots of bumpers but not many variations. Looks like it was mostly fronts for 5th Gen 4Runner and similar Taco stuff.

I did also get a glance at the holy grail , the 1st Gen Taco bumper. Not a bad example but needs some improvement (IMO). The hoops are welded to the top plate without any reinforcements underneath. So one branch could tweak the the whole thing.

Got kind of a late drop on this and just signed up on the BAMF website. Does anyone know if this PDF of the inventory was already emailed or am I understanding this wrong?

No inventory list (it’s all in Jerry’s polished cranium). From what I saw, lots of randos. Mostly late model Taco and 4RUNNER fronts. I saw some aluminum stuff but not sure what’s for sale and what’s going to be kept for reverse engineering.

Just another note. Most of this stuff is in the raw, naked, unfinished. As if they were waiting to tweak it to your order. The (4th Gen 4Runner) bumper that I got was welded and sanded on the face but not completely finished on the edges. Asdide from calling it sloppy I’d say they were waiting for an order to call out which hoops to add (as it was sans hoops). I got it home and filed the burrs and edges then sanded it. I’ll take it to powder coat next week. They will also blast it then color match it (which Jerry did offer up but considering the mess he has to clear out first it would be a few).
