Thanks for the info. I use P5Flash so I hope it’s the same.

This might have been covered... the sheer volume of activity is staggering...

Are the 1.05 base tunes now available with the new FM identical to the 1.05 tunes sent out previously, or have they also been updated?

I've been on 93 base tune several days and more than a couple hundred miles of 100% city driving. This gets better everyday and for me this is the best tune yet for stop and go driving.

I have a 2016 and am updating my truck to 04b04. 04b04 is not an option under 2016 in flash manager, but it is under 2017. Is that file going to work when I try to flash it?

They will overwrite the OVtune file with a factory Toyota file. You will need to reflash with the OVtune file again.

Yes, use 2017. Mat answered this question a while and stated the date is referring to the ECU release, not the vehicle production date.

Just as @crossplane said, but before you re-flash check the revision and confirm with OVTune thay it is OK to do so. Mat may request that you upload and send him the file.

    All the things!
    Quick question for y'all...

Are you guys flashing the stock tune before taking your truck in to the dealer? For 10k oil changes? How about the 5k checkup/tire rotation?

I've read it's undetectable, but what about the "feel" of the truck? Any issues?

I took it in tuned, no issue......my guess is they probably won't even think about it.

Thanks man. Good to know. I'm bringing it in tomorrow for a shudder while coming to a stop, for the second time. So I'm not sure what they are gonna do so I flashed the stock tune back

If P5Flash can point to the file on your PC and select it to write it should work.

Not so sure I’d run in for maintenance with a performance tune. Some knucklehead that needs to move your truck will notice things are a bit “different”.
