For what, if your stock or barely lifted 5100s are probably closer to the right size. 5125s require creativity to fitup right, but can allow more travel if you pick the right lengths.

@ThunderOne I think wrote about the softer valved 5125s, I'm content with them. Had to flex the truck and measure for the length and swap the bushings though

 

Ohh...not needed here, paint can just says to wait 45 min then apply the clear coat. Gonna give it an hour and then do it

I just saw a 3rd gen post where this dude said he "can do everything to his own truck except change the brake fluid" and wants to know if $180 for a dealer brake bleed is fair. Wtf

Speaking of paint. Just got my second Gen back from the body shop tonight. Paint came out amazing.

That's a big ouch but if they charge 1hr x 2 techs it adds up

 

It's the ass end of a truck, I can't say there is a huge difference between Rancho RS5000s and the 5125s until I have a bunch of weight back there

 

I mean I don't judge if someone isn't a DIY'er or is still learning, hell I'm still learning and fucking up all the time. But to say you can do "everything" but can't do a brake bleed just makes no sense to me lol.

 

They even make stuff so you can do it yourself

 

I hate messing with brakes

 

I know how to do everything but oil changes. Is paying $40 for an oil change too much?

I do too but bleeding them is probably the easiest thing to do related to the brakes...except for maybe topping off the fluid lol. Or replacing rotors
