Can you make them telescoping? That way you can adjust for uneven ground.

ahh good call with the uneven ground, telescoping can happen see what designs are out there and choose the simplist form

Edit: found a design for telescoping legs, just a tube with solid rod insert. I’ll just drill a hole and tack a nut to make act as a set screw.

Also found the propane burner https://www.rei.com/product/123404/gsi-outdoors-glacier-camp-stove?CAWELAID=120217890004169055&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=15724606000&CATCI=aud-553371945779:pla-430868656698&cm_mmc=PLA_Google|404_148032|1234040001|none|_kenshoo_clickid_|aud-553371945779:pla-430868656698&lsft=cm_mmc:pLA_Google_LIA|404_148032|1234040001|none|_kenshoo_clickid_&kclid=_kenshoo_clickid_&gclid=CjwKCAiAv9riBRANEiwA9Dqv1YexvfZyxBPvIt_WCd9E-jH4I1viUt6_obtwFGbHXndvPCEOOJKGcxoChyUQAvD_BwE

Due to the minor accident I got into. Got the trucks frame, axle and suspension inspected from a mechanic I trust.

Everything is great. I got really lucky.

Also had the LBJ’s checked and they had no movement.

    The build continues...

On a future note I built the rack so I can try out the whole RTT thing.

Currently, have my eyes on a used eezi-awn 1400 series 3. I should be meeting up with the owner in the next few weeks.

Got everything I need to make skottles, eyelet bolts will be used as set screw to mount the legs to the disk and also telescope an inner rod.

    Nice idea!
I didn’t live on a farm but grew up with lots of farmer relatives and worked on farms. That shit sucked.
Anyway, I thought it looked familiar.

Legs are removable, just need to cut the legs and add a set screw and interval rod to give it the telescoping effect. Last, will be the mounts for the burners

Thanks! A work in progress. So the two are different. One a circular which is about 1/8th thick the other has small ridges at the edge kinda like a flower pedals, which is 3/16ths.

Obviously the 3/16ths will be heavier. Once everything is complete I’ll weight it.

On another note in terms of storage, thinking something like this D1DC73BE-DE53-4D40-A491-2A316E4820AC.jpg

It’s a bit bigger in height to allow for storage of the propane as well. So ultimately everything you need will be stored on one case.
