It's a good design but not exactly what I am wanting.
Yea it seems a little pricey. I looked at them when they released.
I'll planning some sort of carpet to give the dogs grip. Possibly a rubber type of material though for cleaning while still providing grip and even a little padding for them.
I was thinking about pulling all the attachments or getting a second set from/for the seats to incorporate them into the platform for easy opening while still being secure for travel.

i have debated many times to take it out and build a sub enclosure back there, but i think in the end i will probably just remove the rear seats entirely and just build a down fire enclosure that doubles as a platform.

When I asked you if that was a waterfall... and yes, it was in fact water falling....

Sooo it is $1000 for that thing?

That is pretty money, but man, so many pieces to it.

Very nice!!! May we can somehow do that and hammer hangers in the SAME WEEKEND!!!

Also, it isn't hard to remove the seat backs either from the hinges and leave the hinges in place...

That is what I used for my platform, I used the front seat hing as the mount for my platform. It was solid and never moved.

No kidding. It looks well made and I was interested until I saw the price tag. Rather spend that on a fridge and build my own platform.

When I decide how to build each one. The 85 is in such good shape I'd like to get white steelies and skinny 32s
The land cruiser is also in good shape and thinking a mild lift and 37s
The AC is the daily and you will only see me on the street with it
The DC is the one you've always seen and I'm wanting to save up for a few larger items.

I really need to make more money and get my head out of my ass and decide what to do first. A one ton would be nice but not at the moment and I'm on the fence about doing another trailer. I'm also really want I'll ng to build a dock out back but that eats up truck money and since we just got my girlfriend a 4runner that shes been dreaming of she wants to build it also.

Here's the 85 interior, it's too nice to hack up for me

Hmm. This could be the brake-grinding noise I’ve heard.

Got new tires today. I went back to Hankook MT's since I got about 40k out of the last set. There went the tax return.
