I see they have the base price at 42k. Is that a MT?

I say don’t lease if you can buy. Also keep shopping. You can get an OR for a good deal and way less than a Pro as long as you do some legwork. Most can be done through email or phone rather than going to the dealership as far as getting a good price. Get whatever you want but be sure to look all around online for what OR’s are going for without a bunch of overpriced add on things. Packages are different than add on stuff. You can find a good deal if you take the time and be patient.

So far this is best deal:

    Out the door=$37,200.
    I'm in SoCal.
What do you guys think?? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Freeman Toyota was basically offering this same deal to me and I used the quote to get it matched at Manhattan beach Toyota. They were the only dealer out here in SoCal that was straight up and willing to deal.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums. However, I'm about to buy my first Taco. I'm in Massachusetts along the NH border and trucks are always high demand... :( So with that in mind, here's what I got so far.

2019 Taco OR 4x4 DCSB with tech package, floor mats, door sills... $34,826 (including stupid doc fee). MSRP $38,797. So far, I've only been able to get two dealers down to this range.

That's a pretty good number with no rebate. Did you try Rockingham in Salem? Ask for Jen (tell her Tony referred you).

Thanks - I did try Rockingham but didn't get Jen. I got someone else who said their bottom was $34,700 before doc. I just called back and left a message specifically for Jen. Thanks in advance and I'll let you know how Jen works out.

Two others dealers you should try if you haven't already, Jafferian and Toyota of Nashua. In my experience, you need to show them an actual offer sheet to get them to move beyond their usual discount. Sales managers really don't like losing a deal to a competitor.

So far my best offer has been through Jaffarian. Ira in Danvers is "guaranteeing" they'll beat Jaffarian but won't give a specific number. I just got off the phone with Jen and she definitely seems aces but she's pretty adamant that the best any dealer can do at this price point is shave $100-$200 to steal a customer from another dealer.

Well, you can continue to go back and forth with the different dealerships or if you're serious, tell her it's $34.5K (or pick a number you're happy with) all in (including doc) and they can write the deal. Comparing against the best deal I got on a '18 w/ $1000 rebate (~15% off MSRP), I'd guess there's another $500 - 700 to be had if you really want to work at it. Just my opinion. :D

I agree. The worst thing they can say is no. It’s the buyer’s hard earned money. Fight for a good deal is what I tell people!

Thanks guys! I bit on a Gray / gunmetal interior 2019 Taco 4x4 TRD OR DCSB from Ira Toyo in Danvers, MA for $34,500 (incl. doc fee). I'm sure I could've spent the next week having the dealers cut the bottom out of each other for another $300 or so...

Luxy60, I will say I found Jen to be the most pleasant to deal with. I felt like she shot me straight. If they had the color I wanted, I would have definitely went with her.

Hey guys, looking at getting a 2019 SR5 DCSB 4x4 AT in silver/cement stripped of the TOYOGUARD, all weather mats, and paint protection for $30800 MSRP which based on taxes and fees will be $35,000 total. Worked a little bit for this and am wondering if it's an okay deal or not? Thanks.

There's also the exact truck with those options and they're offering $36,000 OTD.
