Settled on 93 base. Would be awesome if it had the gearlock option.

Before this release, my truck preferred the 91 tune. The older 93 seemed to never settle.

The 93 performance tunes are fantastic, but a little to aggressive (in my opinion) for daily driving. I’m really glad that I have the option to use them if I am headed out for a spirited drive, or if my daily commute changes to highway driving.

The option to shift between tunes on the fly would be a brilliant option, but it’s probably a bridge too far.

    GREAT WORK Mat!

Long shot here, but is there anyone near Canyon, Texas on here that would let me borrow their cable? Just ordered the kit this week, and would like to flash my truck before a long drive next week.

Another one of these guys that complains because they can't be bothered to read the 1st post or the OVtuned website. If you follow the instructions, it literally takes no time at all.

@OVTune I can't get any of the base 04b30 files for 2019 to download. Are they not released yet?

    Anyone in GA?

Making up my mind if the 87 tune is worth it over the TSB, anyone letting me do a small test drive would be well rewarded with beer and food:D

It’d be worth coming up to Minnesota, especially since you’re buying!

I'm running the 87 Performance tune on top of the TSB. Ya it's worth every penny.

Is the acceleration or perceived power improved? How about the power coming in at lower rpm's is this improved on 87 as well?

The Tune changed the shifting in a way that find very decent, but my only gripe is mostly the acceleration or sometimes the pedal not being consistent, pressed the exact same way but accelerating in a different way than it did before.

I would also consider 93 oct but given the miles that I drive every year and increased costs, the math says running a Tundra(Which I am considering) would cost almost as much while having much more usable power.

@OVTune is the Tundra Tune is development btw? Remember reading something about it awhile back.

Thanks for the info. I hope I like the 91 performance tune so much I never go back but we’ll see once it’s available for my ECU.

Try closing flash manager and reopening it, updating it and then trying again. I had that happen to me when downloading base tunes and I was able to finish downloading what I need to by doing this.
