Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Dealer called and said my Hoyt RX3 Turbo is in!!! Finally got all the goodies to put on it in as well! To bad I won't be able to make it to the shop for another 2 weeks, stupid responsibilities and adulting!
I'll post up some glamer shots when I put my hands on her.

RX3 Turbo, Storm Grey, 70lbs #3 cam. Should scoot my 440gn VAP TKO's along nicely!

Nice to see there’s options at your local store. I did the same, tried a variety of them out and picked the one they felt best to me. I’m going to get another bow this year as backup, probably the same or similar with same cams.

Would be cool if they blind folded customer and had the draw back the bows. I wonder what would be chosen then?

I can't remember if I shot the SR6. I think they didn't have one in my weight and handed me the SS. I do know I shot the longer axel to axel Realm too, which if what opened my eyes to Bowtech.

Anybody have experience with the new Hoyt bows. I intend to shoot a Helix before I make my final decision.

Yeah, it's crazy just how expensive they are now. I question why I'm paying $1k plus for a bow. I think the fact that less people are into archery now and unfortunately the cost for R&D is being passed onto the consumer.

I think its the opposite, they are getting more people IN to bow hunting so they are capitalizing on the new customers....

They are expensive but as long as you keep your a while it is worth it. I’ve had my Z7Xtreme for years and I will keep it even once I eventually buy another new bow just in case.

I started in 09, with a Bear bow. had no clue of anything, upgraded to a Mathews and Ive had that since. I killed a nice 130lb doe this (2018) past season. I probably have $750 into the bow and equal amount of arrows Ive lost or had repaired in that time:anonymous:

My Hoyt is a 2017. I bought it used. First used bow purchase. I got the Carbon Defiant 34 one year old for $600.

I put new strings on it, replaced the limbs. I’m in it less than $1k

It was cake to tune. I’m looking forward to hammering first blood with it spring turkey.

If I had to pick a new bow, man. My head would spin off with the choices. That new Mathews with the draw weight modules looks super intriguing. I’d start there.

Archery is definitely more expensive than I predicted it to be. Thankfully I "think" I've got my bow where I'll keep it for awhile. Definitely a bit of a learning curve to figuring out what you like. Although, now I'm modifying a SKB case to be as fully loaded as I can make it, their "Double rifle/bow case" was not as "double" as expected

I love SKB cases. Hoping my current one will fit my new bow.

I shot all of the RX3 models and ended up ordering a RX3 turbo in storm. Love the way it felt compared to my last years Hyperforce. Definitely some nice bows. Some complain about the cost but I don't think it's to bad. Got mine for $1700 with custom strings added.

Carbon is very labor intensive. I don't think a lot of people realize that. I checked out the PSE carbon stealth. Was crazy light weight also really expensive.

I would like a carbon bow in the cold weather though.

Carbon takes a little more work and you have to pay for that extra work. I myself can't shoot with gloves on so the early mornings it will be nice to have that warm carbon in the hands. I figured for the $2k + I will have in my bow it will be more then worth it for the memories of hunting season and even more if I'm able to tag a Elk, Bear and Deer.

My PSE Carbon Air Stealth weighed in at 3.6lbs unloaded, and just at 5.5 loaded with stabilizers. Yeah it's a $2k bow fully loaded but it's easy to shoot all day and the grip stays manageable. I don't know how true it is, but supposedly PSE loses money on each bow just because of how expensive it was to R&D them, but who knows
