Good news is that these rims are fairly cheap to replace. The set goes for $400-500 in Cragislist. Just buy a set then replace it as needed.

Installed the LFD roof rack yesterday I wanted something different then just a Prinsu rack like everyone else.

I do love the C4 ladder and lead time was only 2 weeks compared to the Gobi 2 year lead time

 

Nicholas....am I dreaming or did you get some yellow Laminex for your fogs? Or maybe you were just thinking about it.

If you did, how's the "yellowness" of them when on?

 

Hey Bill no sir I just got some Amazon brand yellow led fogs. They are bright enough in inclement weather

Was thinking of what to do when my 6 year old PIAAs finally pop. Back in the day I paid about $65 for them. But now they're closer $100. Very high quality product. But I'm not sure I want to put that much into them.

The $14 Lamin-x is a cheap option. I even looked at some Yellow LEDs, similar to yours....but came across a thread stating the LEDs are terrible in halogen reflectors...poor light throw and potentially blinding to on coming traffic.

Thoughts?

 

Nokya Hyper yellow? I ran these in my Tacoma. After 11 years, I was only on a second pair. Think they're about $25. They do look more yellow than this in person.

 

Yeah...I'm familiar with them. The complaint on those was that the yellow coating eventually faded making them less yellow. At least that's the way they used to be

 

I didn't have that issue with the 2 sets of H10s being only 45w, however, the 9005s at 65w started to fade on the side of the bulb facing up.
