They definitely hold your wheel bearing in. You need at least the stub shaft booted into the hub to drive it.

    Uh sorry but no.

There are no heims or uniballs in that lca. Still uses urethane bushings to mount the lca and runs the stock oem lbj.

If you want to run solos uniball lower joint that means you need to run their fully fabbed spindle and now you're talking about a 2k upgrade. And you don't need to run their lcas for this.

The only company that has uniballs for the lca mounting point is Camburg long travel arms. Still or lbj though unless you do the solo spindle.

The main advantage to the solo stock lca is that is pushes the lbj 1" forward. This gives you a lot of castor but keeps the tires from hitting the firewall like when you add caster via uca. Otherwise not a lot of advantages as they omitted a secondary shock mount.

Not enough to have a build thread.
    Thanks for the info.

Another member posted that their lcas replaced the lbjs with heims. Apologies to all for spreading misinformation.

And one big disadvantage of not being able to get a cotter pin on the castle nut and constantly being paranoid about checking that it is torqued...

Damn tundra rear end is pissing me off and I'm thinking its bent I cant get the axles to come out any further then this. Last thing I can think to do is smack all the serration bolts out to see if those are what's catching on the housing holding the shafts in20190218_171730.jpg

With KYB and ACDelco LBJs. A little disappointed that the KYBs were made in Malaysia, not Japan like their website said they would be. On the ACDelco LBJs, oddly, they replaced the 14mm head bolts with 17mm. Made it close to get in and tighten the ones closest to the brake rotor dust shield, but otherwise no problem.
