    Yeah I only know one person who took the buy outs way back before 92 . He was a SMsgt E8 for non AF types. He took it as he was getting divorced and apparently a buy out means she got nothing from his pension. At least according to what he told us , I don't recall if he lost exchange / medical stuff. Was younger then lol was more interested in how much he was going to get after taxes some where just north of 100k.

    I thought then and even now I am divorced myself damn that is a serious FU to the soon to be ex. I bet she was counting on that money lol.
