Scratch my last comment. They will not be offering refunds for 3rd party cases. Only the bumper cases.

10:56AM Q: Will the refund include third party cases?
A: There's a very small number of third party cases out there. So no.
Q: Well it's interesting, there aren't any cases out there, and it's hard to get cases now. If the third party case buyers can produce a receipt, why not give them one?
Steve: It's really simple, if we tell people what our next product is, they stop buying our current products. Sometimes websites buy stolen property and they get out there... and case makers have a history of showing off their new cases for our new products. The case vendors haven't had a history of helping to keep our work under wraps.

    Seems like a just reason.

Great, now there will be a run on "bumpers" even by folks that didn't have antenna issues!

I was planning on braving nerd-heaven this weekend to get one just because I keep dropping the phone (but no calls) but now I'm sure they'll be wiped out of stock by the time I get there.

They will be offering more cases than just the bumpers. Jobs openly said that they cannot produce the bumpers fast enough. They are going to contact a few companies and have a variety of cases to choose from sometime next week.

Got one problem... My 3G picks up and connects my wifi signal, but my iPhone 4 picks it up and sees it, but won't connect nor will it let me enter a password. Also, I forgot my password to the wifi, any idea on how I can find out without having to reset anything?

are you talking like your WEP/WPA password for a home wireless router?

Yeah that's what I meant. I'm pretty sure it's a WPA password if it makes a difference.

you should be able to browse to your wireless router and get it off there. open a command prompt, type in "ipconfig /all" to find your default gateway, then browse to that address in IE/firefox, etc. probably have a username/password setup on that too though. once in tehre you should be able to find your wireless security settings and get it from there

Awesome info, thanks Jamie! I have a Mac, but I think I can follow the same steps for the Mac.

I am new to the site, trying to learn about my truck. While I was looking around I saw this question and I was excited there was something I could actually answer. :)

For a Mac it is "ifconfig /all" it is also the same for Linux and Unix just FYI.

I have been working in computers my whole life, that should tell you how dumb I am at mechanical things. :)

So instead of fixing the problem they masked it. Im kinda glad they dropped the ball this time because it made me buy the Samsung Captivate (droid) and I love it. Not that the iphone 4 is not an awesome phone but I have owned one since release date day 1 of the original iphone and it was time for a different phone.

Thanks for the heads up on that.

So, anyone know anything about the Incase Snap Case? Looks like the lowest profile solution to me. The Speck Pixel Skin looks pretty cool too as it appears to add a rubberized back which would hopefully keep the phone from sliding around.

FWIW, dropping one or two bars is enough to drop a call if you're on a call while only getting one or two bars of reception...

I guess we can't look at the cases online anywhere? I don't have an iPhone 4 yet but will be getting one. Can somebody w/ that case app post up some screen shots of the various cases? That'd be HUGE!

Is it an iPhone problem or TW Live problem that my pics I send always come in sideways?

It's unknown. I talked to Bob about it and he couldn't figure it out...

My UG Live pics come in alright though, and that's what really matters.

 As long as those come in fine, nobody's complaining.
