285/75/16 on scs f5 wheels

 

Had these on my 04 Tacoma, so I knew I wanted them on the 2016 I just got this month. Not only do they look bad-ass (IMO) on a black wheel, they looked really good on my stock Gen 1 wheels. I can attest to the fact that they last a long time and are great in the snow (yes, we get snow in New Mexico).

 

Staying stock size? If so, you’re all set, go for it!

 

What size are you running ?

 

265/70 R17 on the 4 Runner pro sema wheels

 

Thanks, that does help a bunch gives me an idea how they will look on the stock sport wheels. I really like the way they look. How do you like them for normal road driving? Also like the fog lights, what brand did you go with?

 

I’ve been happy with the tires. I only have about 1100 miles on them, but no complaints yet. They have been great in the rain and performed well in the little bit of snow I’ve driven in.

The fog lights are actually stock, so no upgrade there. Now that I look at them, I really like them!

Did you see much of a decrease in MPG's over stock?

 

I think they are considered 2-in-1 and the outer ring of LED’s are used as part of the daytime running lights.

 

Not much difference at all, but I removed my front air dam at the same time so I’m not sure what to blame! I get about 19mpg around town. I haven’t had the chance to take it on a trip on the interstate so highway mileage is yet to be determined.

 

You have my interest peaked with these tires. 265/75/R16s are $528 for a set...

 

I just got a set of SCS SR8's, anyone know the biggest size of wildpeaks without rubbing on stock suspension? 265/70/16?

 

I recommend it. Sold my 180 mile stock tires for $550 so pretty much an even trade.

 

Did you sell the rims with the tires? That is the only thing holding me back from buying them I plan on using the stock rims but worry about selling the stock tires

I cant decide if I want keep the stock size or go 265/75s. Have any of you noticed any power loss or mpg loss with the size up from stock? Either way I cant wait to get rid of the stocks, they suck!

 

Nope. Just the tires for $550. Sold stock wheels for $400.

 

265/75/16 on stock suspension. Lost 1 full MPG in my daily driving. Worth it.
