Alternator is a lot easier to replace than an engine lol

 

the way the water was churning in the wheel well is what took my motor out. That bow wake over the hood gave me ptsd thinking the same was going to happen

 

That's an easy fix, I got a thread on it.

 

Yeah try wrecking a motor when you are over 7 hrs from home and no trailer or tow vehicle not fun! Definitely have a new appreciation and caution for any water crossings.

Absolutely.

 

Is it running rich or lean? Can you tell?

 

Probably 3-4mpg you are losing.
