Should be fine if it’s loaded safely. The 6500 isn’t the absolute cap it’s what they have to advertise at. You’ve got enough of a buffer I’d say.

You will be fine, just brake in advance. What car you are getting?

Thanks guys, I feel a lot better.
I'm helping a friend out, picking up a Volvo V70.
Also, anyone need a Tacoma express to Ottawa or back?

As long as the trailer has brakes. Be sure to load it properly.

I towed a dodge Dakota 4 door with the v8. Truck was fine. Braking not so much. Most uhaul trailers have surge brakes though I believe.

This one wasn’t too bad, but when I had the other tractor it was tough on hills but I managed. Was a short drive though.

Just take it slow and leave lots of space.

Once the bumper is on I'm going to do a side by side of before and after from when I picked it up till now

U-haul has a trailer that the whole vehicle can go on. You are taking the load but you’ll have the surge brakes.

Or....have someone riding in the other vehicle pulling the parking brake when they see your lights

Let me attach some pontoons to my sliders and I'm IN!

Lol aren't you sooo glad the temp is going to plummet. You now have your own personal hockey stadium.

Dan Tee is gonna sell me his 883 and nitrocharger setup on the low off his 1st gen.

    :bananadance:

Might have more lift sooner than I thought. Going to be a good spring rate for my new heavy ass bumper and winch when I get around to buying one.
