But My leads didn’t reach though without cutting open that plastic harness wrap thing on the positive side of the battery, near one of the pullies.

It appears this needs to be said again.
You can pay $5 for a battery with a 20 year warranty but you still won't get the RC!!!

Maybe in Vegas, but not where I live. Local AZ mgr. is world-class prick. I'll never buy another one again.

It looks like the X2 marine battery has the positive and negative posts swapped. Does this cause any install issues?? I assume you can just rotate the battery 180 degrees, no?

I normally pick the highest CCA with the longest prorate warranty for the cheapest price.

Like above, I think the F means posts are swapped.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Bullshit.

I've run Optimas in multiple vehicles over the years... Running 2 Yellow tops right now. Friends are running yellow tops. None of us have had any of these made up bullshit problems with them.

First optima I had lasted 10 years. Made in USA. Second one lasted a month past the warranty. Made in Mexico.

Funny a guy with an 05 Tacoma would point at something being made in Mexico as a reason for lack of quality.

You realize there is a very high likelihood your truck was made in Mexico... Right?

Made by Johnson Controls in Mexico they are a US based global company. Same battery different country of origin. 05 Tacoma assembled in Mexico from Japanese parts supplied by the global company Toyota.

I have to eat my words, found the 27f at the costco on the westside of abq. 97 w tax. tested it and got 768 cca.

I bought a optima yellow for my starter battery on my prius, lasted a month. place I ordered from would not take it back. I ordered one from a local stealership because they (and the others) didn't stock it. came as a non toyota labeled panasonic.
About 5 years ago. Talk about a ripoff.
