So before MAF, have a good flow regulator, start with low flow and make gradual adjustment to higher flow. I suppose you would need an egt and maybe a cht readout to properly adjust to avoid an exessively lean condition. As this would be for momentary power, the egt and cht would need to use fast response TC's or RTD's. Would be interesting to have variable flow regulation based on egt/cht feedback. I.e. map the flow to egt/cht. Small plc control to regulate the flow controller. Just thinking out loud... Sounds like a good DOE project.

Seriously- look at the numbers. It wont last but less than a minute and thats it.

There are much better suggestions others gave you.

This seems extremely feasable with guaranteed results and low cost. I’m super excited.

If I do it, I will certainly post the results. And will also post a kit for sale... If I do it.

I read it as “post it for sale” as in “for sale: slightly used 2018 4x4 OR - needs new mass air flow sensor, intake manifold, etc”.

    Anyways, good luck.

What you're describing, a variable vein turbo would work better than this hairbrain plc controlled compressed air scheme.

You’d have much better luck using nitrous than compressed air. It’s capable of being compressed into a liquid form (unlike a normal compressed air tank) which means far more uses per fill and has a higher oxygen content (and therefore potential power increase).

I've seen some strong running drag race motors either twin turbo or procharged running upwards of 50 psi boost and making 3000hp plus !!!

Neat idea for the track but you’d prob have better luck installing an electric leaf blower like those guys on YouTube did.......Maybe plug it in to the 110v outlet in the bed? With an extension cord and a switch? Lol.

This thread reminds me of the episode of Roadkill where they bought leaf blowers and strapped them on an old Monza
